Robert B. Gerber, D.D.S. | Qualified Medical Evaluator | Los Angeles, California
Dr. Gerber entered into private dental practice after completing a three year deployment with the United States Army, Europe. The emphasis of his practice is on reconstructive, rehabilitative, esthetic dentistry, dental implantology, treating sports injuries, treatment of patients with complex medical conditions, and temporomandibular dysfunction. He is one of approximately 40,000 dentist in the world currently engaged in the ceramic reconstruction of teeth with the Sirona CEREC AC 4th Generation CAD/CAM computer.
Dr. Gerber is a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME# 109838) in the State of California Department of Workers' Compensation and performs Agreed, Qualified, and Independent Evaluations of injured workers.
In addition, Dr. Gerber is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, a member of the Associate Staff of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy International Honor Organization, a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, Zeta Chapter.
He has also served as Lecturer and Overseas Senior Academic Consultant to the Department of Stomatology, Qingdao Municipal Hospital Group which is affiliated with the Medical School Qingdao University and he was Scientific Consultant to the Qingdao Stomatological Hospital in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, People's Republic of China.
Dr. Gerber served in the United states Army Reserve for over thirteen years which included a three year deployment in West Germany during the Berlin Wall and Cuban Missile Crises. He received an Honorable discharge in the permanent rank of Captain.
He re-entered military service at the rank of Major in 2011 with the California State Military Reserve which is one of the three active branches of the California State Military Department. He is currently the Executive Officer of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Brigade RSC-S, and is a Combat Life Saver Instructor.
